When I add the files to my project or drop them onto the timeline, the video appears fine but there's no audio and I get the warning message: 'This installa. I'm trying to edit interviews, and basically I can't work. Hi, I'm running Premiere Pro CC on Mac 10.8.4 importing MTS files captured on a new Panasonic V720 Camcorder that records MTS / AVCHD files. I've tons of searching, and there seem to be a lot of people having similar issues - but all have different possible causes. It’s a bit compressed and a newer option for high-quality 4K so there may still be a potential for future optimization. So this problem has seemed to have ramped up over the past month or so and it's getting increasingly difficult to edit. Where there might have been some struggling was using some intra-frame 4K 30p footage from the C70 using the XF-AVC 10-bit 4:2:2 codec. Applying some LUTs, layering music, adding titles didn’t seem to impact performance at all. Adding to the challenge is that the MacBook Air used in this test is outputting to a large display.Īmong the test footage is some 2K ARRI ALEXA footage that is a heavy ProRes 4444 codec. Now, he still puts a lot of different types of footage to the test using the Premiere Pro beta.
